Indian equity criteria recuperated on Friday after a sharp cut in the previous session, led by gains in pharma, health care, auto and power supplies. The 30-share BSE Sensex leapt 759 factors or 0.96% to shut at 79,803 and the wider NSE Nifty went up 217 factors or 0.91% to finish at 24,131. Stocks such as Adani Total Gas, REALITY, Bharat Dynamics, Cochin Shipyard and Vodafone Idea were amongst the leading gainers on Nifty 200 today.
