Rescuers in north Peru were looking for caught miners at a tiny cash cow in Peru, after the mine was purportedly struck by presumed unlawful miners, a regional mayor claimed.
Segundo Armas, mayor of the Pataz area in the northwestern area of La Libertad, claimed on Monday that as several as 17 miners can be caught at the mine.
Armas was unable to verify the variety of miners that had actually had the ability to get away.
