At the very least 10 Pakistani safety workers were eliminated when their station came under fire, the AFP and Reuters information companies reported on Friday.
The strike occurred near the northwest city of Dera Ismail Khan late on Thursday, Reuters mentioned authorities resources as stating.
“The intense exchange of fire lasted for nearly an hour. Ten Frontier Constabulary personnel were martyred, and seven were wounded during the attack,” an elderly knowledge police officer informed AFP on problem of privacy.
The Pakistani Taliban declared duty for the strike in a declaration.
