Living well! The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On celebrity Zaina Sesay took a seat with ET to share the wildest sell-care fads she’s attempted while commemorating her 34th birthday celebration and the launch of her led health journal on March 6.
“Purposeful Healing is a guided journal designed to help people process the emotional weight of a breakup in a healthy, intentional way. I created it because I know firsthand how overwhelming heartbreak can feel,” she informs ET.
“This journal helps navigate emotions with structure and support through thoughtful prompts, affirmations, and reflection exercises rooted in self-compassion and personal growth,” the fact tv celebrity includes.
In enhancement to allow her feelings out with writing, Sesay depends on a complete 360-degree method for her health routine.
“I take a holistic approach to self-care and prioritize what my mind, body, and soul need at the moment. … It isn’t just about routines for me, it’s about staying present and creating balance,” she discusses.
Some of her basics: “Strength training, Pilates, and long walks help me reset. I love morning movement because it sets the tone for my day. … Facials, gua sha, and SPF are also musts, and I incorporate dry brushing, body oils, and lymphatic massages to keep my skin smooth and the circulation flowing.”
Beyond her tried-and-true staples, the Maryland native is open to experimenting with some of the more unique holistic wellness offerings out there.
“At first I was skeptical about mouth taping because the idea of voluntarily taping my mouth shut overnight felt a little ridiculous, but I noticed I woke up feeling more rested and less groggy,” she splashes.
Next up? “I want to try IV therapy for hydration and recovery, especially after travel, even though I hate needles.”
While the web content designer will certainly place her anxieties apart for health, something she intends to stay away from are chilly dives.
“I fundamentally do not like being cold, so the idea of willingly submerging myself in freezing water sounds like pure suffering. If someone ever catches me in an ice bath, just know I lost a bet,” she jokes.
