Lady Byrd Cafe Owner Misty Mansouri Reveals How to Throw a Festive Holiday Party and Avoid Hosting Mistakes


Hostess with the mostess! Lady Byrd Caf é proprietor Misty Mansouri is preparing for the holiday, and to commemorate, she took a seat with ET to share her cheery vacation event fundamentals.

For beginners, Mansouri thinks offering very easy, delicious recipes is the means to go, and she’s adhering to that technique at her very own Los Angeles, California based dining establishment.

“Visitors can expect refined comfort foods with beautiful and fresh ingredients that work together to create simple, yet delectable and delicious dishes,” she shares.

Some food selection must-haves: “Our short rib served over mashed potatoes, steak frites, seafood risotto, heartwarming soups, and chicken Milanese are seasonal favorites.”

When it involves the design, Mansouri welcomes “the more, the merrier” state of mind.

“We are loaded with elaborate Christmas trees, fluorescent lights, traditional color palettes, and velvet bows complete with fireplaces and cozy and comfy blankets,” she describes.

If you can not make it right into the restaurant, Mansouri states you can still enter the spirit in your home.

“Go upscale with your dress code and outfit. It’s a perfect time for furs, beautiful wool, and cashmere,” she describes.

And to avoid any type of organizing blunders, Mansouri suggests focusing on partygoers’ demands.

“It’s going to be a cold winter, so make sure you have plenty of ways to keep your guests warm. You should also offer alternatives for alcohol beverages like fun mocktails,” she recommends.
