Yogurt from Costco Canada remembered for the second time in a month over wellness worries


Yogurt from Costco is being remembered for the 2nd time in a month, after producer Danone Canada claimed the item might have a kind of yeast that might cause disease in immunocompromised individuals.

The recall impacts Costco’s Kirkland Signature Probiotic Yogurt that can be found in a 24-pack of 100-gram portions, which was purchased its storage facilities in Canada in betweenSept 3 andSept 19, Danone Canada claimed in a notification uploaded on the store’s site onSept 23.

The impacted items have best-before days ofOct 18,Oct 20 andOct 22.

Danone included that the food safety and security danger was reduced, as the yeast is not understood to expand in cooled temperature levels.

The yogurt producer asked individuals not to take in the item and to return it to a Costco storage facility to acquire a complete reimbursement.

This is the 2nd time in a month that a brand name of yogurt cost Costco is being remembered.

Earlier in September, 24-packs of Greek yogurt under Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand name were remembered as a result of mold.

The remembered items were dispersed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
