A 32-year-old Ontario male has actually been detained for presumably attempting to leave Canada to sign up with a terrorist team, the RCMP claims.
In a press release on Friday, the RCMP stated the male was detained by its Central Region (Ontario) Integrated National Security Enforcement Team (INSET). The RCMP did not state specifically when or where the male was detained, or which terrorist team he presumably prepared to sign up with.
The male’s name has actually not been launched because of a magazine restriction.
According to the launch, the male was detained under “terrorism peace bond provisions.”
On April 19, the supervisor of public prosecutions and Canada’s replacement attorney general of the United States consented to lay what is called “an information commencing the terrorism peace bond application process” under area 810.011 of the Criminal Code.
