A person is lifeless and two girls are injured, one critically, after two autos collided in Markham on Monday evening, York Regional Police say.
Police stated the collision occurred on Highway 7, east of Reesor Road. Officers had been referred to as to the realm at about 7:45 p.m. One automobile was heading east whereas the opposite was heading west once they collided, police added.
The man, in his 60s and the passenger of 1 automobile, was pronounced lifeless on the scene. The driver, a lady in her 60s, is in life-threatening situation. She was taken to a neighborhood hospital, then airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre.
The driver of the opposite automobile, a lady in her 40s, was transported to a Toronto trauma centre with severe however non-life-threatening accidents.
