Man detained after 26 cars harmed midtown Guelph creating over $13K in damages


A Guelph guy deals with lots of fees after 26 cars were harmed midtown creating over $13,000 in problems.

Police began getting records of cars with broken side home windows around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

An overall of 26 proprietors reported damages to their automobile. The damages varied from crawler internet fractures to some home windows being entirely burnt out, Guelph cops representative Scott Tracey claimed.

All of the cars were parked in the location of Cork and Yarmouth roads.

The tool utilized was a “blunt instrument,” Tracey described, including security video clip revealed a guy lugging a huge, red flashlight which cops claimed more than likely was utilized to harm the home windows.

A 33-year-old Guelph guy is billed with 26 matters each of mischievousness under $5,000 and tried burglary under $5,000, 2 matters of falling short to follow a bond order and one matter of breaching a probation order.

He was held for a bond hearing Thursday.
