Ford waits for explanation on Trump ‘Liberation Day’ tolls

Ontario Premier Doug Ford talked Wednesday soon after united state President Donald Trump introduced a “minimum baseline tariff rate” of 10 percent, and 25 percent on foreign-made lorries. Asked if the Ontario federal government regarded the statement as damaging, Ford reacted stating “if it was 25 per cent and 10 per cent on top of that — yes — but we don’t believe that that’s the situation.” Neither Canada neither Mexico were consisted of on a listing of tariffed nations and the premier was asked if that seemed a minor. “I think that’s good news actually when we aren’t named on that list,” Ford claimed.
