Driver strikes 4 pedestrians on Key First Nation, eliminating woman: RCMP

RCMP were called about 2:55 p.m. CST on Saturday regarding 4 pedestrians being struck by an automobile on Key First Nation, regarding 80 kilometres north of Yorkton, according to a press release.

Police state a woman under the age of 12 was stated dead at the scene by paramedics.

Two various other women under the age of 12 were likewise struck, together with a guy. The 2 women were required to medical facility with severe injuries and the male had non-life harmful injuries, the press release claimed.

RCMP state they apprehended 62-year-old Kenward Strongquill fromKeeseekoose First Nation He’s billed with one matter of failing to quit after a crash leading to fatality, one matter of running an automobile while damaged creating fatality, and 3 matters of running an automobile while damaged creating physical damage.

Strongquill is readied to show up in Yorkton Provincial Court on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
