Several ballot terminals were momentarily nearby power interruptions Saturday throughout the last day of B.C.’s rural political election, while one more was completely shut as a result of a political election authorities’s traveling problems.
The power blackout closures came amidst a climatic river that saturated the South Coast and main Interior, triggering flooding on roadways and downing high-voltage line in some locations.
Most of the terminals that dealt with short-lived closures resumed by the mid-day.
However, Elections B.C. reported that the only ballot terminal in Dease Lake was completely shut Saturday since the individual that was educated to run it had not been able to arrive as a result of the weather condition and roadway problems.
