Four individuals remain in custodianship after a capturing in North York Sunday mid-day that included a Toronto law enforcement officer, cops state.
At 3 p.m., cops state they were called around an occurrence, which they identified as a stabbing and firing, in the location of Islington Avenue and Satterly Road.
Police state they detained 4 male suspects, consisting of a 17-year-old that was required to health center with a gunfire injury to his leg.
The hurt suspect remains in major problem, Toronto paramedics state.
Police verified a police officer was associated with the capturing.
Police did not reveal additional information concerning the event. An authorities examination is recurring.
Police referred CBC Toronto to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), Ontario’s cops guard dog, for more details. The SIU did not promptly reply to CBC Toronto’s ask for remark.
The SIU is an independent firm that examines the conduct of law enforcement officer in cases that might have led to fatality, major injury, the discharge of a gun or claims of sexual offense.
