Nova Scotia’s cops guard dog is examining after a 25-year-old male passed away while in Halifax Regional Police custodianship Saturday evening.
Halifax cops were contacted us to an apartment on Vimy Avenue in Fairview Saturday around 7:45 p.m. AT.
A Sunday press release provided by Halifax cops stated the male was experiencing a psychological wellness situation.
A press release provided by the district’s cops guard dog, the Serious Incident Response Team, stated a battle took place in between cops and the male, and the male was Tasered.
The cops press release stated the male “became aggressive” with cops before being Tasered.
Halifax cops claim the male was nabbed and when his wellness aggravated, they gave emergency treatment. Paramedics and firemans likewise gave aid, however paramedics wrapped up the male was dead.
Halifax cops referred all questions to SIRT.
In an e-mail Sunday, a SIRT agent stated the male passed away at the Vimy Avenue address.
The agent stated no one was readily available for a meeting.
