Saskatoon Police are cautioning the general public concerning medicines flowing in the city after 2 individuals passed away from presumed drug overdoses.
Police state they are exploring an event including 2 fatalities, and advise the general public concerning “potentially fatal cocaine” in Saskatoon, according to a press release provided Friday evening.
The Saskatoon Police Service prompts the general public to be knowledgeable about overdose signs, and of the Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act, “which serves to provide some legal protection for individuals who experience or witness an overdose and seek emergency help,” the launch stated.
Some signs of an overdose consist of sluggish or no breathing; gurgling, wheezing or snoring; clammy and trendy skin; blue lips or nails; and problem awakening or remaining awake. Anyone believing an overdose must call 911 promptly.
