Temporary real estate readily available for Putra Heights fire sufferers

THE Selangor Housing and Real Estate Board is providing 100 momentary house systems to sufferers of the current gas pipe fire in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya.

Selangor real estate and society board chairman Datuk Borhan Aman Shah specified that the systems, situated in Pangsapuri Seri Suria in Kota Warisan, Sepang, belong to Selangor’s Skim Smart Sewa effort.

“Each unit is about 1,000 square feet, equipped with fans, lights, and grilles. It also contains three bedrooms and two toilets.

“There are likewise 2 auto parking bays for each and every device. Furniture is not offered,” he said during a press conference at the Putra Heights Mosque on April 14.

He noted that the monthly rental for the apartment units is RM850.

“Rental will certainly be used for 6 months, and we will certainly take into consideration all ask for expansion on a case-by-case basis.

“Those interested can register now as the units are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Those who register today can expect to obtain the keys to their units on Wednesday (April 16),” he included.

Also existing were agents from Sime Darby, which is providing 10 systems of condominiums in Bandar Serenia, Sepang.

The condominiums are 750 square feet in dimension with a regular monthly service of RM1,800.

The gas pipe fire, which happened at 8.10 get on April 1, sent out fires rising over 30 metres high, with temperature levels rising to 1,000 levels Celsius.

It took almost 8 hours for the blaze to be totally snuffed out.
