SWM Environment, UiTM indicator MoU on waste monitoring and ecological sustainability

JASIN: SWM Environment and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) authorized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop a critical collaboration concentrated on public education and learning and recognition.

The campaign intends to improve interaction, education and learning and public recognition, especially in locations associated with lose monitoring and ecological sustainability, stated SWM Environment’s General Manager (Corporate), Mohd Norlisam Mohd Nordin.

He stated that the MoU puts substantial significance on knowledge-sharing concerning lasting waste monitoring.

“This includes fostering a culture of waste separation at the source to facilitate recycling efforts,” he stated after the finalizing of the MoU on Friday (Feb 28).

The MoU was checked in an event at UiTM Melaka Campus right here, with SWM Environment stood for by Mohd Norlisam and UiTM by its Rector, Prof Datuk Ts Dr Mohd Rasdi Zaini.

Mohd Norlisam stated SWM Environment and UiTM have actually accepted work together in different areas, consisting of r & d pertaining to public recognition projects, waste monitoring solutions and reusing campaigns.

“As a concessionaire responsible for waste management and public cleansing services in the country, SWM Environment is honoured to work alongside UiTM in conducting research that encourages behavioural change towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious lifestyle,” he stated.

The collaboration, he kept in mind, will certainly include sharing proficiency, centers, sources and appropriate details while involving college participants in interaction, education and learning along with public recognition (CEPA) programs on ecological sustainability.

Prof Dr Mohd Rasdi in his speech invited the partnership, revealing gratitude for SWM Environment as a critical companion in enhancing study and proficiency sharing in the area.

“This partnership also provides an opportunity for members of higher education institutions, such as UiTM, to exchange knowledge, expertise and technical skills with SWM Environment,” he included.
