Students obtain hands-on experience discovering the aeronautics at Kota Kinabalu airport terminal

high school pupils had an improving experience discovering the aeronautics market at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) on Friday (Jan 10).

Organised by AirAs ia in partnership with KKIA, the neighborhood program invited 40 pupils and instructors from Maktab Rendah Sains Mara (MRSM) Kota Kinabalu, strengthening its dedication to neighborhood upliftment and education and learning.

The individuals experienced behind the curtain procedures at AirAs ia’s second biggest center in Malaysia.

Activities consisted of a check-in and separation simulation, a directed airplane see, a taxiway trip, and an intro to Airport Fire and Rescue Services (AFRS).

The program intends to supply impoverished pupils with a special academic experience pertaining to flight, stimulating passion and widening profession ambitions in aeronautics.

AirAs ia Malaysia CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, Captain Datuk Fareh Mazputra, stressed their idea in encouraging young people with understanding and producing paths for them to know their desires.

“Through this programme, we aim to inspire students, many of whom may be experiencing aviation up close for the first time, to consider aviation as a viable and exciting career choice,” he claimed in a declaration.

He included that the program furnishes pupils with unique understanding and point of views required to be successful in this ever-evolving market.

“By nurturing local talent, we ensure that the aviation sector remains dynamic and sustainable, contributing to both the economy and the growth of future leaders in aviation,” claimed Fareh.

“As Sabah’s main gateway, we applaud KKIA’s continued initiative to inspire students and teachers by providing firsthand insights into airport and aviation operations, encouraging them to explore exciting career opportunities in this field in the future,” he included.

The program covered 2 days to suit pupils from 2 colleges, with the earlier session on Jan 7 entailing 39 pupils and instructors from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Petagas.
