Public session on suggested Batu Arang burner delayed because of ‘conflict of interest’


A PUBLIC hearing on the suggested burner in Batu Arang, Selangor was terminated because of arguments from stakeholders that went to.

“Hence, we asked him to recuse himself.

“We hope that there will be another session chaired by someone else.

Ng said that all the processes for holding the session had been duly followed as provided for under the Local Government Act 1976.

“Selangor is a clear state, where we constantly pay attention to the homeowners’ issues,” he included.

About 70 homeowners from Batu Arang, Bandar Tasik Puteri and Bandar Seri Coalfields had actually shown up for the session on Monday (Feb 10).
