PETALING JAYA: Commuters taking a trip to and from Batu Caves KTM Komuter terminal can secure free adventures on Feb 10 and 11 along with the Thaipusam celebration.
Transport Minister Anthony Loke stated all journeys within the Klang Valley to and from Batu Caves would certainly be at no cost for 2 days beginning at twelve o’clock at night on Feb 10.
“Commuters can use cashless payment methods via applications such as KTMB Mobile, Komuter Link card, Touch ‘n Go card, or debit or credit cards, where the charges will be waived upon checkout.
“Physical tickets with a QR code can also be purchased at the counters for free on the two days,” he stated.
Loke likewise stated that KTM Komuter would certainly run 24 hr daily for 4 days from Feb 9 to 12.
“During this period, senior citizens, the disabled, and children between two and six years old will receive a 50% discount, while children under two can travel for free.
“We expect around 500,000 commuters to use KTM Komuter services this Thaipusam period, a 10% increase from last year,” he stated at an interview held at Batu Caves on Tuesday (Feb 4).
