DBKL to totally deal with Ramadan fete permit applications, upkeep

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will totally deal with permit applications and upkeep of Ramadan fetes in the funding beginning this year to make certain affordable rental costs of stalls and far better administration.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa claimed that this brand-new technique was to deal with problems over company application costs.

“In this new approach, we are also offering reasonable rental fees. The rental fee for a (Ramadan) bazaar (stall) is only RM500…about RM16 per day. Dr Zaliha claimed DBKL would certainly work together with company bodies to make certain an extra ordered procedure of Ramadan fetes.

Meanwhile, on the wise city effort under the CHASE (Clean, Healthy, Advanced, Safe, and Eco-Friendly) structure, she claimed the program obtained a favorable feedback from homeowners in the Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan Federal Territories.

“For example, when we implement the community garden initiative, we see residents coming forward, wanting us to implement the initiative in their areas as well,” she claimed.
