He explained the ambiance at the occasion as one that mirrored hope, success and unity.
“Our celebration of the Lunar New Year with local residents serves as an important platform to strengthen unity among the city’s multicultural community.
“I would like to wish the Chinese community in Klang, xin nian kuai le (Happy Chinese New Year), guo nian hao (celebrate the New Year joyfully), nian nian hao (may every year be a good year) and xin xiang shi cheng (may all your hopes be fulfilled),” stated Abd Hamid, that likewise seized the day to join visitors.
“Let us come together to celebrate the spirit of unity, instil values of mutual respect and make this Lunar New Year a meaningful opportunity to build a more prosperous city,” he stated.
