OSLO (Reuters) – Volvo Cars’ sales dropped by 3% year-on-year in December to 73,804 automobiles as the sale of hybrid cars decreased, the Sweden- based car manufacturer stated on Tuesday.
Volvo Cars, which is majority-owned by China’s Geely Holding, stated in a declaration that sales for 2024 increased by 8% contrasted to 2023 to a total amount of 763,389 automobiles, enhanced by a 54% increase in the variety of completely electrical designs.
Sales of Volvo’s completely electrical automobiles represented 23% of all Volvo automobiles marketed around the world throughout 2024, contrasted to 16% in 2023, the business stated.
