OTTAWA– Statistics Canada claims wholesale sales, leaving out oil, oil items, and various other hydrocarbons and leaving out oilseed and grain, climbed 0.4 percent to $82.7 billion in July.
The rise came as sales in the assorted subsector got 3 percent to get to $10.5 billion in July, assisted by stamina in the farming materials sector team, which climbed 9.2 percent.
The food, drink and cigarette subsector included 1.7 percent to complete $15 billion in July.
The individual and home items subsector dropped 2.5 percent to $12.1 billion.
