LONDON (AP)– Qualcomm shed its lawful battle on Wednesday to obtain a European Union antitrust charge thrown away after a leading court mainly rejected the innovation firm’s disagreements in the event including mobile phone chipsets.

In a separate case the European Commission fined Qualcomm $1.23 billion after ending it approached Apple to suppress competitors, yet the General Court rescinded that choice in 2022 after the firm appealed.
