TORONTO–Corus Entertainment Inc reported its first-quarter revenue dropped compared to a year ago as its income went down 12 percent.
The tv and radio broadcaster states it made a revenue attributable to investors of $11.9 million or 6 cents per watered down share for the quarter finishedNov 30.
The results compared to a revenue of $32.7 million or 16 cents per watered down share in the exact same quarter in 2014.
Revenue for the quarter amounted to $327.2 million, below $369.9 million a year previously.
Corus claimed the general decline came as tv income was up to $303.6 million compared to $342.4 million in the exact same quarter in 2014. Radio income amounted to $23.5 million, below $27.5 million.
On a modified basis, Corus states it made 14 cents per share in its most current quarter compared to a modified revenue of 20 cents per share in the exact same quarter in 2014.
