(Reuters) – Canadian organized labor Unifor expanded its due date for agreement arrangements with General Motors on Tuesday, avoiding a strike at the plant in Ingersoll, Ontario that makes electrical automobiles and batteries.
The due date for getting to a bargain got on Tuesday and the Unifor Local 88 had actually formerly stated that 97% of its more-than-1,300 participants remained in favour of quiting working at the CAMI plant if a bargain was not gotten to.
