WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Polestar claimed on Monday that a recommended Biden management regulation to prevent using Chinese car software and hardware would certainly “effectively prohibit” the car manufacturer from marketing automobiles in the United States.
The Swedish car manufacturer, majority-owned by China’s Geely, claimed in remarks submitted with the Commerce Department that a recommended brand-new regulation restricting Chinese linked automobiles on American roadways because of nationwide safety problems would certainly prevent the sale of automobiles Polestar is constructing in South Carolina along with those created in China.
