Bangladeshi National Detained for Assisting Suspects in Hadi Murder
Kolkata– West Bengal’s Unique Job Force (STF) has jailed a Bangladeshi national, Philip Sangma, for apparently aiding the believed killers of Bangladeshi young people leader Sharif Osman Hadi to unlawfully go into India.
- Sangma is charged helpful Faisal Karim Masud and Alamgir Hossain, previously detained in Bongaon, cross the boundary after Hadi’s murder.
- Sangma confessed to being a boundary promote, promoting illegal crossings via the Haluaghat-Dalupara boundary for settlement.
- Hadi, representative for Inqilab Moncho, was killed in Dhaka on December 12 th, causing political discontent.
- Sangma is now in cops safekeeping.
