Clothing and underwear store Victoria’s Secret put on hold the majority of the performance of its internet site and some in-store solutions to “address a security incident,” according to a declaration published to the business’s internet site.
“We identified and are taking steps to address a security incident,” a Victoria’s Secret speaker informed Reuters in an e-mail.
“We immediately enacted our response protocols, third-party experts are engaged, and we took down our website and some in-store services as a precaution.”
The business’s Victoria’s Secret and PINK shops stay open, the speaker stated.
The speaker did not quickly react to inquiries regarding the nature of the case or when it started.
The Ohio- based business runs about 1350 retailers throughout 70 nations.
